Apple launched probe into possible business misconduct within its supply chain

Apple Inc. had conducted an investigation in May 2018 into probable business misconduct within its supply chain, which includes possible kickbacks as well as bribes to employees from suppliers, rattling few of the suppliers and employees of the tech giant as they geared up for the production the newest devices of the company.

In response to Crisp Live’s questions, an Apple AAPL, -0.54% spokesman told that the company has not found any kind of evidence of kickbacks or bribery, but declined to disclose what actually prompted the investigation or its findings.

Apple has inquired with one of the suppliers about probable kickbacks to employees of Apple, as per the people who are familiar with the probe.
